I took down all my desktop captures, but I had to comment on a Linux desktop! Gimp rules. I run Mandrake, BSD Unix, and we have two MACS running OS X, which to me is Linux. My new laptop doesn't like Linux tho and I am too lazy to mess with it, so I am using Windoze at the moment. Thinking of building a AMD 64 box and running Mandrake 64 on it using Crossover office to use my Win junk. My poor dead laptop was running Linux and lots of Win apps via Crossover and it rocked, but may it rest in peace.

yo di el salto hace poco, un mes o asi, solo. Hace unos tres años estuve usando linux (mandrake y red hat) pero entre q no me reconocia algunas cosas de hardware y que ni de coña podia usar los programas de windows q solia usar, lo dejé, hasta ahora, que andaba asqueado del puto windows y aprovechando que tengo colegas linuxeros me he decidido.
tienes el escritorio muy wapo. Yo poco a poco estoy intentado darle un aire wapo al mio, pero hay cosas q no se como van...pero preguntando lo conseguiré

El Gimp 2 es increible. Incluso tiene soporte CMYK. Es realmente comparable en calidad a cualquier herramienta profesional (digitalmente hablando) aunqe un poco más austero que por ej el PS. Te recomiendo que lo pruebes.

en linux estoy echando de menos el photoshop....a ver si un colega me pone el wine...........
